#OOTD 54 - Warhol GEEK 2/4

If only Andy Warhol was alive today to see the rise of the selfie. A pioneer of self promotion, the king of pop art knew exactly the power of his own image. TheChicGeek, on the other hand, has become a pop icon in the men's bloggersphere, thanks to his stylish persona. The coolest geek in town, he knows exactly how classic and chic a black leather jacket, Breton striped top and denim jeans can be. Never one to shy away from the camera, watch as The Chic Geek turns himself into a work of art. #WarholGEEK Credits - Leather Jacket…

#OOTD 53 - Warhol GEEK 1/4

The American pop artist, Andy Warhol, embodies modern male dressing: slim shapes in simple clean lines. The model of the 1960s Beatnik, Warhol, in his early career, liked to stick to his uniform of dark denim, striped Breton tops and leather jackets. A master of his own image, TheChicGeek couldn't help but try his hand at becoming Andy Warhol, well, for 15 minutes at least! Tonight, Matthew... #WarholGEEK Credits - Leather Jacket - Acne Studios, Top - Farah, Jeans - Energie, Watch - Fossil, Sunglasses - Balenciaga, Socks - The London Sock Co, Camera - Polaroid Cube, Trainers - Converse,…
Get your motor running! Channelling a little bit of James Hunt by way of the Bay City Rollers, TheChicGeek gets a large dose of 70s in this look from Topman Design's AW15 collection. The jumpsuit is a major trend for this season. Add the badges and the bright colour and it becomes glam-rock fantastical. Hold on tight! #OOTD 51 - Chic Geek Collections - Coach 5/6

The first menswear outing from American brand, Coach, saw some of the best and largest sheepskins of the season. Trying his best to keep his fringing out of the torrential autumn rain, TheChicGeek sought shelter in one of London's finest Georgian arcades. Wearing one of the key pieces from the Dsquared2 catwalk, TheChicGeek opted to dress up this typical cowboy style leather jacket for evening with a printed shirt and embroidered cropped trousers, all from the same collection. The result is something on the Mexican border - one part cowboy, one part Mexican fiesta and plenty of ChicGeek! Credits - All AW15 Dsquared2 Shot by Robin Forster on #OlympusPEN More images below
They're watching you! Looking as inconspicuous as TheChicGeek can, TheChicGeek is feeling a little bit surrounded by Fendi's bug eyes. From bags to phone covers to watches, Fendi's, now signature, bug eyes are the style talisman protecting him from any fashion mistakes! As for the look, this ultra warm corduroy trench coat, lined in shearling, is the ultimate in 1970s style menswear. Teamed with jumbo wale corduroy trousers and handsome loafers, TheChicGeek is certainly safe from the elements too. Credits - All AW15 Fendi Shot by Robin Forster on #OlympusPEN More images below
Louis Vuitton's men's collection for AW15 looked to the British designer and artist, Christoper Nemeth, for inspiration. Nemeth considered making clothes as one of his artistic practices. Amongst his trademarks are deconstructed tailored suits and drawings/illustrations depicting thread, needle and hands - the making of clothes - which are also featured on clothing accessories, furniture and more. Born in Birmingham, England, he moved to London in 1979 to study painting at Camberwell College of Arts. While he continued to paint after university, he also taught himself pattern cutting and sewing, making his own clothes out of discarded post bags and…

Marks & Spencer has asked TheChicGeek for his top tips when it comes to looking for and buying a new suit. #TheChicGeekSays 1. Fit is the most important thing when buying a suit. Find items in your size first, then decide on the style and material. Pay particular attention to the shoulders, cuffs and hems of the trousers. 2. Jacket sleeves should stop at the base of the thumb and trousers should gently break on the shoe. 3. The length of the jacket should be in proportion to your height. If you are taller, then opt for a longer jacket.…
