New York label, DKNY, has just launched a limited-edition Keith Haring 'Art' fragrance.
“I have always been inspired by the life and innate style of the artist,” says Karan. “I have admired Keith Haring’s work ever since his designs first appeared in the subway stations of New York; they are not only visually compelling, but communicate a message that I think everyone can relate to. This really speaks to the essence of DKNY; wearable art that’s young, urban and totally original.”
A powerful blend of cardamom and bergamot opens to spicy ginger and a herbal heart. Cypress and lavender reinforce the crisp and assertive undertones including a blend of leatherwood, incense and sandalwood, said to leave an inherently passionate and provocative trail.
An original Keith Haring design accentuating the life of the city, along with the artist’s signature, wraps the fragrance carton, with proceeds going to the Keith Haring Foundation which supports the education, research and care related to AIDS.
