Just as made in the UK is enjoying a renaissance, so too is made in the USA. In 1863, John A. Frye opened the doors of a small shoe shop in Marlboro, Massachusetts. Over a century and a half later, the Frye Company has become the oldest continuously operating footwear brand in America and is one of only a few shoe companies who still continue to make products in the United States.
To celebrate this milestone, The Frye Company has released a book charting the last 150 years and TheChicGeek is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of limited-edition Engineer Americana boots hand-finished using American leathers and proudly made in the USA worth £635. Inspired by the American flag, it takes 190 steps to make a pair of Frye Engineer Americana boots featuring the stars and stripes.
